The NWS forecast damaging severe storms late tonight over Central Kansas. A complex of storms will move eastward late tonight into Wednesday morning with damaging to significant damaging winds possible. The latest forecast includes the potential of damaging winds 70 to 80 mph as the main threat. Straight-line winds are possible, where winds can exceed 100 mph. The timing for Russell is between midnight and 4 am.
