Water Conservation Program

The city recognizes the importance of scarcity of water in Kansas, especially during this prolonged drought. In addition to the securing of additional water sources and improving our infrastructure, the city began a residential water conservation program in 2013 by offering free low-flow shower heads to our customers. In order to encourage further conservation a water conservation rebate program has been approved by the City Council.

The purpose of the rebate program is to promote the purchase and proper installation of water savings product to improve water efficiency now and in the future. Participate in the City of Russell’s Water Conservation Rebate Program and do your part to make an impact during the drought! You can save money on water efficient toilets that conserve water while saving you money over time. Don’t delay, take part in the Rebate Program before the money runs out!
