Dave Sturgeon has worked for the City of Russell Electric Department since 2012. He began his career as a Power Plant Operator, promoted to Power Plant Mechanic, and then to Production Superintendent in 2019. In December of 2022, Dave was promoted to Electric Utility Director.
Prior to moving to Russell, Dave served 4 years in the United States Navy, stationed at Pearl Harbor aboard the USS Lake Erie as a Gas Turbine System Technician.
Dave and his wife Michelle have 3 children, Jocelynn, Maddox, and Maverick.
